New Year's Resolution

Step 1. Start a blog.
Step 2. Write a blog post.
Step 3. Do not get embarrassed and delete the blog. (That's the hardest part.)

The new year is almost here. Can you believe it? Twenty Twelve was undoubtedly the best year of my life. I planned my dream wedding, married the best guy in the universe, had an epic two week honeymoon, stood by some of my best friends as they got married and celebrated the engagement of other fantastic friends. I traveled, ate, drank and as one of my personal heroes, Anthony Bourdain, says "I'm hungry for more." 
With the thrill of 2012 almost behind us, I am ready to start new adventures and document them here. After years of trying  (and failing) to come up with "the perfect" blog name, I finally just picked something. "Tree house" is a play on my maiden name. While it is no longer the name on my drivers license, it will always be part of who I am.

This is who I am. Drinking chardonnay out of the bottle, in my wedding dress, at 2am.
