Friday Fives

This week nearly got the best of me. Thankfully today is Friday, and it looks like I’m going to make it.
Five things that got me through the week:
  • Tuesday evening's Soul Cycle Ride with Tess. I am very grateful to be back on the Soul Cycle wagon after a six month post-wedding hiatus. I have another ride booked for tomorrow morning and I'm loving my new found motivation.
  • Wednesday after work we changed in to our Blue & Gold and met Dawn, her husband Brent and friend Kristin in Westwood to watch the UCLA Basketball Game. Even though the Bruins lost to USC (Boo Trojans!!) we still had fun.

  • Homeland. We are late to the game, but thanks to the beauty that is OnDemand we caught up quickly. (Probably a little too quickly, as this is partly to blame for my exhaustion this week).

  • BlowPro 'faux dry™' dry shampoo. The amazing and talented hair & makeup artist from my wedding (and now my BFF) Emily recommended it so highly that I had to try it. It is without a doubt the best dry shampoo I have tried to date (and I’ve tried quite a few). I hated the Bumble & Bumble “Blondish Hair Powder.” I’ve used Batiste for years, pretty happily but this WAY better.  I ordered it on Amazon and saved $5.

  • And the number one thing getting me through the week... My beloved 49ers are in the Super Bowl!!!

Not my car, but I agree with the sentiment.

I have worn my 9ers jersey for almost every Super Bowl. This is the first year (since 1995) I will be dressed appropriately. To say I am excited is an understatement!!!

  1. Loving Soul Cycle too! The new Santa Monica studio is amazing. My bosses wife rides about 4X per week so she totally hooked the company up with some free passes and a couple group rides. I've totally taken advantage and love it. Have so much fun tomorrow:)

  2. I remembered this past Sunday why I went weekly to this woman Amy's SC class from June to November. I've gone to a couple of sporadic classes since then but I am back on the Amy bandwagon! (Or, er, bicycle). Can't wait to get back in the swing/spin of things :)
